Stage 1 will commence on Monday 21st September 2020 encompassing Main Street just south of the carpark entry/bus stop. This stage will involve widening of the road, resurfacing and installation of a crossing and consequently, there will be periods of closure. Access for buses and trucks, including deliveries will still be maintained under traffic management. Access to the carpark coming from Taylors Road turning into Main Street will also be maintained by installation of a U Turn. This stage should take around 3 weeks to completion.

Stage 2 involves resurfacing of the roundabout and upgrades to crossings on Main Street. Again, buses and trucks will still have access under traffic management. Vehicles will be able to access the car park turning from Taylors Road onto Main Street but will be encouraged to exit via the western exit to maintain traffic flow. This should take between 2-3 weeks.
Stage 3 will be undertaken on Taylors Road, due to commence within the fortnight. There will be minimal disruption during this stage.
There will be signage and traffic controllers on site to direct customer traffic to minimise disruption. The works will result in more efficient egress in and out of the centre and a safer more enjoyable pedestrian experience.
